The CBP-PROC3 CalBench is a package for testing and calibrating pressure, process, and temperature instrumentation. It is suitable for users that require a workstation that is easy to operate manually, but can also perform software driven calibration applications. This makes it an ideal solution for all skill levels, from technicians learning calibration, to experienced test engineers.

The 8060+ module situates centrally in the console, providing source, simulation and measurement of process signals, HART communication and 24 V loop power. It features an integral multimeter, and a PC control centre with 12.1" touch screen display. Both manual control and EasyCal software driven calibration can be performed. EasyCal communicates with pressure modules and dry block calibrators.

For pressure calibration, high accuracy digital gauge modules feature. For pneumatic workload two gauge modules have regulators for output adjustment and setting. For higher pressures gauge only modules are used with supplied pumps.

The package has various extras to aid applications and complete the workspace. These include on-bench storage with drawers, holders, perfo panel hooks and shelves. Calibration accessories include pumps, manifold, adaptors/fittings kit, and test stand.

Temperature Calibration

The CBP-PROC3 enables users to perform efficient calibration of temperature instrumentation. EasyCal can control the dry block calibrator whilst reading back the temperature measurement of the sensor under test on the 8060 module. Calibrate various products including:

Sensors, transmitters, indicators, thermometers
RTDs, thermocouples, recorders, controllers
Process calibrators, PRTs, thermistors

Pressure Calibration

The CalBench features four main pressure modules for calibration work. These include two regulated calibrator modules covering vacuum to 20 bar (300 psi), utilised with line pressure. Two digital gauge modules for 200 bar (3000 psi) and 700 bar (10,000 psi) are used with the supplied pneumatic and hydraulic pumps. Calibrate pressure instrumentation such as:

Switches, valves, controllers, chart recorders

Additional Applications

The CBP-PROC3 is a primarily a process instrumentation calibration system, but can also be used to check and verify functions on electrical test equipment and other devices. The CalBench is also ideal for training and can show a wide range of testing applications common to industries.

EasyCal Calibration Software

The CBP-PROC3 comes with EasyCal software on the 8060 control centre. This enables software driven testing procedures and provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results.

Produce traceable calibration certificates and test reports for quality standards with additional uncertainty information for ISO 17025 conformance.
