The CBP-PROC1B CalBench is a comprehensive pressure and temperature calibration bench based on the popular CBP-PROC1 package. It provides a wealth of functions with wide range coverage making it suitable for instrument workshops that require a single workstation for calibration of plant devices and instruments.
The heart of the system is the 8060+ module that enables automated calibration and communication. The calibrator section features source, simulation and measure capabilities for process signals, HART communication and 24 V loop power. Also included is an integral 6.5 digit multimeter for additional measurement applications.
The PC control centre section has 12.1" touch screen display and runs the manual control applications for the process calibrator and multimeter. EasyCal software comes pre-loaded on the system and enables automated calibration and test management. It communicates with pressure modules and the supplied dry block calibrator. Peripherals supplied include a certificate printer, label printer and bar code reader.
The package provides the foundation for professional instrumentation calibration within a QA program that requires optimal compliance and traceability. It can also be utilised for training of instrument technicians and engineers. The package can be customised to match site requirements, change pressure ranges, add/remove items as required.

Automated calibration using EasyCal software
The bench features an automatic controller module for pneumatic calibration from vacuum to 20 bar, with a 2 bar sub-sensor for low range performance. A regulated module for up to 200 bar can be used with a gas or N2 cylinder, or with the supplied pneumatic pump if line pressure is not available. Further precision measurement is via XTEG modules that feature a dedicated interface on the control centre. Pneumatic and hydraulic pumps are supplied. Calibrate pressure instrumentation such as:

The CBP-PROC1B enables users to perform efficient calibration of temperature instrumentation. EasyCal can control the supplied dry block calibrator whilst reading back the temperature measurement of the sensor under test on the 8060 module.
