The CBP-PROC3B CalBench is a package for pressure, process, and temperature calibration work. It is suitable for instrument workshops that require a single station for routine testing work, and to utilise plant line pressure of approximately 8 bar (115 psi). User can benefit from automated calibration capabilities or fast and simple manual methods for checking and validating instrumentation.

The 8060+ module situates centrally in the console, providing process signal source and measure capabilities, HART communication and 24 V loop power. It features an integral multimeter, and a PC control centre with 12.1" touch screen display. Both manual control applications and EasyCal software are available for use. EasyCal communicates with the 8060+, pressure modules and the supplied dry block calibrator.

For pressure calibration, high accuracy digital gauge modules feature. For pneumatic workload a regulated 7 bar module can be used with line pressure and the supplied electrical vacuum pump. For higher pressures, gauge modules are used with benchtop pneumatic and hydraulic pumps. A dual port manifold and adaptor kit are also supplied.

For storage the CalBench has a 4-drawer unit, dry block calibrator holder, perfo panel tool hooks and shelf. These allow users to position tools and accessories as required.

Temperature Calibration

The CBP-PROC3B enables users to perform efficient calibration of temperature instrumentation. EasyCal can control the dry block calibrator whilst reading back the temperature measurement of the sensor under test on the 8060 module. Calibrate various products including:

Sensors, transmitters, indicators, thermometers
RTDs, thermocouples, recorders, controllers
Process calibrators, PRTs, thermistors

Pressure Calibration

The CalBench features four main pressure modules for calibration work. These include a regulated calibrator module covering vacuum to 7 bar (100 psi), utilised with line pressure. Three digital gauge modules for 20 bar (300 psi), 100 bar (1500 psi) and 700 bar (10,000 psi) are used with the supplied pneumatic and hydraulic pumps. Calibrate pressure instrumentation such as:

Switches, valves, controllers, chart recorders

Additional Applications

The CBP-PROC3B is a primarily a process instrumentation calibration system, but can also be used to check and verify functions on electrical test equipment and other devices. The CalBench is also ideal for training and can show a wide range of testing applications common to industries.

EasyCal Calibration Software

The CBP-PROC3B comes with EasyCal software on the 8060 control centre. This enables software driven testing procedures and provides increased speed of calibration and consistency of results.

Produce traceable calibration certificates and test reports for quality standards with additional uncertainty information for ISO 17025 conformance.
